Ford Focus Rally

The new Electric Vehicle movement is well underway at Ford Motor Co., a scene which has taken over the entire Ford display at the Detroit Auto Show.

Ford is great about building the excitement and involving it’s passionate followers and fans towards solving the global climate issues together. This makes Ford appear like more of a person or identity that people can communicate with and share, quite a difference in the minds of consumers who want that type of interaction.

The ability for Ford to create an electric version of the Ford Focus shows an indication that the same vehicle models their passionate owners have come to love, won’t have to be sacrificed in order to get their hands on an electrically driven car.

The ancestors of the Ford Focus include:

Ford Tempo which was produced from 1984 – 1994
Ford Contour produced from 1995 – 2000
Ford Focus began production in 2000 – Present

The Ford Focus is expected to be very popular around the Pacific Northwest. It helps complete the vision for a green lifestyle, a popular goal for those living in the Seattle area.

Until the Electric Focus comes out, get your green fix at events like the Bellevue Homes & Lifestyles Show which offers green living and even new green home design and technology.

Ford Focus – 7 Exterior Colors That Pop

Tuesday, June 8th, 2010

The Ford Focus is currently available in 7 exterior colors and 2 different interiors. While choosing a color and an interior might be complex, the choice of color may in fact reflect the personality of the person and what he/she expects from the vehicle.

One of the exterior colors you might choose is the Blue Flame Metallic. Blue is a universal color, which typically denotes calmness and in many cultures is the color of peace. Another option would be Ebony. Black is believed to give the impression of seriousness, but can also be sexy, puzzling and even sophisticated. The Ford Focus is also offered in Ingot Silver Metallic and Sterling Grey Metallic. These colors usually symbolize richness, and can give you a quite attractive and distinguished look-something to make you stand out.

Natural Neutral Metallic, like most neutral colors, would serve to put the focus on something other than the external of the car. That could be you or even the interior aspect of the car. It simply captivates the attention of the people towards the interior of the car.
Sangria Red Metallic would be a good option for ladies especially. Red is a hot and an appealing color. It shares a range of emotions, including passion, love and even violence. One thing which is definite is that it undeniably attracts the attention. The last color available is the white suede. White has forever in history represented hygiene, innocence and purity. White goes well with any color and any shape. And obviously suits the Ford Focus.

The 2010 Ford Focus is available in 7 exterior colors that pop, and I believe by now, you know which color is made for you. Make sure you remember to choose a color that suits your personality and allows you to display who you really are.

2011 Ford Focus – Teenagers And Parents Can Both Enjoy

Monday, June 7th, 2010

The 2012 Ford Focus has a lot to offer it’s younger generation. Parents agree that the slick styling appeals to a young driver, but both are sure to be pleased with the integration of technology.

There is no question that Ford is leading the auto industry in integrating technology in their vehicles, and the focus is no exception. The Focus has the Ford sync system which allows people to sync up their mobile devices. By doing so, one can access and use the phone hands free, access their music library that’s stored on their mobile device and engage within applications that are built on Ford’s open API.

The 2012 Ford Focus is also very safe, a vehicle that you could trust for the new driver, and also experienced drivers that want to get back into an exciting vehicle.

The new chassis was built and constructed of high strength steel that’s been rigorously tested and has been very adequate.

Aside from all the technology in the Ford Focus, there is no question that the looks of the exterior make this one desirable car. It seems suitable for young drivers because it’s both economical, sporty, safe and has all the technology integrated that one might need.

The 2012 Ford Focus is everything all wrapped into one: 30+ MPG, bluetooth hands-free cellphone operation, sporty suspension, and a hot looking exterior. Suggested MSRP at around $17,170.

The Focus is ahead of the rest, get a Ford and see how all these incredible features compliment each other, from the illuminated doorsill plates, leather seats and interior. Find time to come down and see one in person to fully appreciate how this vehicle will simplify your life and allow you to stay connected.

2012 Ford Focus Design Hotter Than Ever

Sunday, April 4th, 2010

In 2000 Ford introduced a car that defined the new millennium. The Ford Focus was designed not only to appeal to the economy minded buying segment of the US population but also to a global market. The vehicle while easy on the pocketbook was also designed well and offered the customer several trim levels.

The Ford Focus, while in its Second generation in Europe was only given a refresh in 2008 for US markets and has not been given that extra nudge needed to compete against other economy car options.

However, it is no secret in the auto industry that Ford Motor Company is hotter than ever and so why not heat up the economy division? Enter the 2012 Ford Focus (debuting early 2011) and not the boring US version but the Second Generation Euro-version. The buzz since the North American International Auto show is that economy minded customers should stop by a Ford dealership before heading out to a Toyota or Honda dealership.

Ford offers this world-class car in a variety of engine options (10) with the standard US being a 2.0 liter direct-injection 155-hp engine; Ecoboost may be available for the economy minded who like a few more horses. Speaking of the economy minded, Ford engineers also look for every possible way to get more mpg for the consumer. In this effort, the 2012 Focus will come equipped with a new dual-clutdh fully automatic PowerShift transmission.

Ford may also use ‘stop-start’ technology in its attempt to get 40 mpg. This means the vehicle will automatically shut off when the car is stopped so that no fuel is wasted at that time. When ‘stop-start’ is implemented the driver will have no need to do anything but think of the money saved with this Ford added fuel economy feature.

Ford Motor Company and the world-class 2012 Ford Focus are hot, yes hotter than ever. Cleaver engineers with an eye on the pulse of consumer needs and wants equals out to an exciting time for Ford Motor Company and consumers as well.
